Rycote Universal Shotgun Microphone Mount for Cameras and Boom Poles
The Rycote universal shotgun mount is designed to hold and isolate shotgun microphones on either a DSLR camera/video camcorder's hot shoe or a boom pole. The Rycote patented duo-lyre cradle will provide significant isolation against handling noise, low-frequency rumble, and vibrations from camera motors or the boom pole. The microphone clip will accept 0.75 to 1.34" (19 to 34 mm) diameter microphones with a one-size-fits-all clip design and a non-slip grip treatment. The 3/8" shoe is machined from solid brass for ultimate durability and has an integral 1/4" tap. The cable clamp assures proper cable management for additional isolation. The brass shoe adapter can be quickly removed for conversion to boom pole use.
The Rycote universal shotgun mount is compatible with a wide range of microphones, including Rode: NTG1, NTG2, NTG3, NTG4, NTG4+, Sennheiser: MKE 600, MKH 416, ME 66 K6, MKH8060, Audio-Technica: AT897, AT835ST, SCHOEPS CMIT 5U, and SANKEN CS-3E. It can be used with all types of push-on windscreens, such as a classic-softie, super-softie, and standard foam windscreens.
