Canfon Overcover packs contain 40 Stickies and 40 Fabric Discs, including 20 of each color: white and black. Designed specifically for use with Lavalier mics under clothing, the Stickies are used to fix the microphone, while the soft fabric discs are added on top to minimize the sounds of clothing rustle and low wind noise.
The Sticky has a diameter of 2.2mm, and the Fabric Disc has a diameter of 2.5mm, making them suitable for Lavalier microphones with a diameter of up to 8.5mm. This includes models from popular brands such as RODE, Boya, Saramonic, Audio-Technica, Sony, Speedlink, and many others.
The high-viscosity 3M double-sided adhesive tape can firmly attach the Stickies and Fabric Discs to a variety of clothing materials, ensuring they do not easily fall off. When removed, the surface is left clean, with no residue.
The elastic felt cloth comes in two colors, black and white, allowing it to blend seamlessly with both light and dark clothing. The felt material is safe for direct skin contact and does not cause any allergic reactions.
The installation process is straightforward. First, remove the double-sided adhesive tape from the paper and apply it to the back of the collar. Then, peel off the surface sticker and position the microphone over the center of the tape, ensuring the head of the microphone is at 1/3 of the tape's width. Finally, remove the cloth from the film and press it down firmly onto the tape to secure the microphone.
